Trailer World Terms and Conditions

These Trailer World Terms and Conditions govern your use of TrailerWorld.net and purchases, reservations, inquiries, financing arrangements, pickup arrangements and delivery services involving Trailer World. By using our website, submitting an order, purchasing a trailer or otherwise doing business with Trailer World, you agree to these Terms and Conditions to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Trailer World is a family-operated trailer dealership based in California City, California. We provide trailers for personal, commercial and professional hauling applications and serve customers locally as well as customers throughout the United States. Delivery to Canada may also be available when arranged and confirmed.

1. About Trailer World

Trailer World provides customers with access to a variety of trailer types, which may include utility trailers, equipment trailers, dump trailers, enclosed cargo trailers, car haulers, deckover trailers, gooseneck trailers and other heavy-duty hauling solutions.

Our inventory may include trailers from manufacturers such as Big Tex Trailers, Diamond C Trailers, Premier Trailers, BWise Trailers, CAM Superline, Load Trail and PJ Trailers.

Available brands, models, specifications, configurations, colors and inventory may change from time to time.

2. Website Use

TrailerWorld.net is provided to help customers research trailers, review available inventory, contact Trailer World, request information and, where available, begin or complete a purchase.

You agree not to use this website for fraudulent, unlawful, abusive or unauthorized purposes or in a manner that interferes with the operation or security of the website.

3. Trailer Information and Specifications

We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate trailer descriptions, specifications, photographs, prices and other product information.

Trailer specifications may include information such as:

  • Manufacturer
  • Model
  • Trailer dimensions
  • GVWR
  • Payload capacity
  • Axle ratings
  • Empty weight
  • Ramp or gate configuration
  • Coupler type
  • Tire specifications
  • Color
  • Installed equipment and accessories

Manufacturer specifications and equipment can change. Photographs may also show optional equipment, accessories or representative configurations.

Customers should confirm any specification that is material to their purchase before completing the transaction.

4. Vehicle and Towing Compatibility

The customer is responsible for determining whether their tow vehicle, hitch, braking equipment and other towing equipment are appropriate for the trailer and intended load.

Customers should consider the trailer’s GVWR, payload capacity, tongue or pin weight, axle ratings, hitch requirements and their tow vehicle manufacturer’s towing limitations.

Trailer World does not recommend exceeding any vehicle, trailer, hitch, tire, axle or component weight rating.

5. Inventory and Availability

Trailer inventory is subject to availability.

A trailer displayed on TrailerWorld.net may be sold, reserved or otherwise become unavailable before website inventory information is updated.

Submitting an inquiry does not reserve a trailer unless Trailer World confirms a reservation or purchase according to the applicable transaction terms.

6. Pricing

Trailer World makes reasonable efforts to display accurate pricing. However, pricing errors or technical errors may occasionally occur.

Prices may change before a purchase is finalized.

If an obvious pricing or listing error is discovered before completion of a transaction, Trailer World may correct the information and provide the customer with the opportunity to proceed at the corrected price or cancel the affected transaction, subject to applicable law.

7. Taxes, Registration and Other Charges

Displayed trailer prices may not include all applicable taxes, title fees, registration fees, delivery charges, customs charges, duties or other governmental or third-party charges unless specifically stated.

Applicable charges depend on the transaction, delivery destination and customer location.

Customers are responsible for taxes, registration, title, licensing, import requirements and other charges for which they are legally responsible.

8. Orders and Purchases

An online order, inquiry or request does not necessarily constitute final acceptance of a sale.

A transaction may require confirmation of:

  • Trailer availability
  • Final purchase price
  • Customer information
  • Payment
  • Financing, when applicable
  • Delivery or pickup arrangements
  • Applicable taxes and fees
  • Any required transaction documents

Trailer World may contact the customer if additional information is required to complete an order.

9. Payments

Customers agree to provide accurate payment and billing information and represent that they are authorized to use the payment method provided.

Payment requirements may vary depending on the trailer, transaction type, financing arrangement and delivery method.

A trailer will not be considered fully paid until all required funds have been successfully received and cleared, unless a valid financing agreement provides otherwise.

10. Deposits and Reservations

Certain trailers may be eligible for reservation using a deposit or reservation payment.

The amount, refundability, expiration period and other conditions of a deposit will be disclosed as part of the applicable reservation or purchase agreement.

Customers should review those terms before submitting a reservation payment.

A deposit described as refundable will be handled according to the applicable reservation agreement and Trailer World’s policies.

11. Financing

Financing may be available for qualifying transactions.

Financing terms, payment schedules, down-payment requirements and other conditions will be provided before a financing agreement is finalized.

Customers should carefully review all financing documents before signing or accepting them.

Submitting a financing inquiry does not guarantee approval or guarantee that a specific trailer will remain available.

Where financing is provided or administered by a third party, additional terms and conditions from that provider may apply.

12. Trailer Pickup

Customers may arrange pickup of eligible trailers from Trailer World in California City, California.

Customers are encouraged to inspect their trailer before leaving the pickup location and verify that the trailer, model and included equipment correspond with their purchase documentation.

The customer is responsible for arriving with an appropriate tow vehicle, hitch and other equipment required to safely tow the purchased trailer.

13. Trailer Delivery

Trailer World may arrange delivery to customers throughout the United States. Delivery to Canada may also be available when specifically confirmed.

Delivery dates and transit times provided before shipment are estimates unless Trailer World expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

Weather, traffic, mechanical problems, carrier schedules, road conditions, regulatory requirements and other circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect delivery times.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and any information reasonably necessary to complete delivery.

14. Delivery Inspection

Customers should inspect their trailer at delivery whenever reasonably possible.

If visible transportation damage is present, the customer should photograph or record the damage, notify the driver when appropriate, note the condition on applicable delivery documents and contact Trailer World as soon as reasonably possible.

Customers should not authorize major repairs relating to a delivery damage claim before contacting Trailer World if they expect Trailer World or a transportation provider to be responsible for those costs.

15. Returns and Refunds

Eligible trailer returns are governed by the Trailer World Return and Refund Policy.

Under our standard policy, customers may request an eligible return within 14 calendar days after delivery or pickup.

All returns require authorization before a trailer is transported back. Approved returned trailers are inspected before the final refund amount is determined.

Eligible refunds are generally issued within 5 to 10 business days after the returned trailer has been received and successfully inspected.

Customers should review the complete Return & Refund Policy before purchasing.

16. Return Transportation Costs

When a customer returns a trailer because they changed their mind, selected the wrong trailer or no longer require the trailer, the customer is generally responsible for approved return transportation costs.

If Trailer World delivered the wrong trailer, or an eligible return results from an error made by Trailer World, Trailer World will generally arrange or cover reasonable return transportation as described in our Return & Refund Policy.

17. Trailer Warranty

New trailers may include warranties provided by the applicable trailer manufacturer or component manufacturer.

Warranty duration, coverage, exclusions and claim procedures vary according to the manufacturer, model and component.

The applicable manufacturer’s written warranty controls the specific warranty coverage provided with a trailer.

Customers should review the complete Trailer World Warranty Policy and the warranty documentation provided with their trailer.

18. Warranty Claims Are Not Automatically Returns

A warranty concern does not automatically qualify a trailer for a full refund or return.

Depending on the applicable warranty, a qualifying defect may be addressed through inspection, repair, replacement parts, component replacement or another remedy provided by the manufacturer.

19. Trailer Use and Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for safely operating, loading, towing, maintaining and storing their trailers after taking possession.

The customer should follow all applicable laws and manufacturer recommendations concerning:

  • Weight limits
  • Cargo securement
  • Towing speeds
  • Trailer brakes
  • Safety chains
  • Breakaway systems
  • Tire pressure
  • Wheel and lug maintenance
  • Hitch and coupler compatibility
  • Lighting requirements
  • Registration and licensing

20. Overloading and Misuse

Customers must not intentionally operate a trailer beyond its rated capacity or contrary to applicable safety requirements.

Trailer World is not responsible for damage caused by overloading, improper loading, improper towing, unauthorized modifications, accidents, negligent operation or failure to properly maintain the trailer, except to the extent responsibility cannot legally be excluded.

21. Modifications

Structural, electrical, hydraulic, suspension, axle or other modifications made after purchase may affect trailer safety and applicable manufacturer warranty coverage.

Customers should consult the manufacturer or an appropriately qualified professional before making significant modifications.

22. Manufacturer Information

Trailer World is a trailer dealership offering products manufactured by independent trailer manufacturers.

References to manufacturer names, product names and trademarks are used to identify the trailers and products offered through our inventory.

Manufacturer warranty obligations remain subject to the manufacturer’s applicable written warranty.

23. Website Images

Product photographs are intended to help customers evaluate trailers. Colors, accessories, equipment and other details may appear differently depending on the specific trailer, photography, screen settings or manufacturer configuration.

When a specific feature is important to a purchase decision, customers should confirm that feature with Trailer World before completing the transaction.

24. Website Content and Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, original Trailer World website content, including text, layout elements, graphics and other original materials, may not be copied, reproduced, republished or commercially distributed without authorization, except as permitted by law.

Manufacturer names, trademarks and logos remain the property of their respective owners.

25. Third-Party Services and Links

TrailerWorld.net may contain links to manufacturer websites, financing providers, transportation providers or other third-party services.

Third-party websites and services operate under their own policies and terms. Trailer World is not responsible for the content, security, availability or practices of independent third-party websites.

26. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Trailer World will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses resulting from misuse of a trailer, unauthorized modifications, overloading, improper towing or other circumstances outside Trailer World’s reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

27. Force Majeure and Events Outside Our Control

Trailer World will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, transportation interruptions, road closures, government actions, labor disruptions, supply-chain interruptions or similar events.

When such circumstances affect an order or delivery, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate with the affected customer.

28. Fraud Prevention

Trailer World may take reasonable steps to verify customer identity, payment information, delivery information and transaction details when necessary to prevent fraud or unauthorized transactions.

Orders involving suspected fraud, unauthorized payment activity or materially inaccurate information may be delayed or cancelled as permitted by applicable law.

29. Privacy

Information submitted through TrailerWorld.net is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

Customers should review our Privacy Policy to understand how information may be collected, used, stored and shared.

30. Changes to These Terms

Trailer World may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our services, website, business practices or applicable requirements.

The current version will be published on TrailerWorld.net with its applicable update date.

Changes will apply prospectively except where applicable law provides otherwise.

31. Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions are intended to operate in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to waive consumer rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.
